19th ANNUAL SUPPORT-A-WALK!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2013
FDR State Park, pre-Walk activities 9am, Walk begins 10am
The Walk is held each year to bring attention to the impact breast and ovarian cancers have on people's lives. Proceeds benefit Support Connection's FREE year-round support services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
The three-mile Walk is held at FDR State Park (Route 202 off Taconic State Parkway.) Pre-Walk activities begin at 9 am. At 10 am, the ribbon is cut and the Walk begins. People walk in teams or as individuals. Some walk in memory of or in celebration and support of people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
