2012 Support-A-Walk
Our 18th Annual Support-A-Walk for breast and ovarian cancer on Oct. 7, 2012 was a wonderful morning!! Thank you to ALL those who helped make it a success - our volunteers, sponsors, walkers, teams, donors, and everyone who did their part to support our mission. We are VERY grateful to you all and we thank you on behalf of the women and families impacted by breast and ovarian cancer who reach out to us for help.

2012 Dragon Boat Races
On Aug. 4, 2012, two boatloads of enthusiastic paddlers turned out on behalf of Support Connection to participate in Peekskill Celebration's Cancer Awareness Dragon Boat Races. Following the races, participants raised roses into the air and tossed them into the Hudson River, to honor those who have "faced the cancer dragon."

2012 Celebrate Life Day
On June 3, 2012, nearly 150 people were at Traveler's Rest in Ossining, NY for our 9th Annual Celebrate Life Day. This uplifting event is held honor cancer survivors for their strength and courage, and to recognize the contributions of families, friends and other caregivers. It takes place on National Cancer Survivors Day, an annual, worldwide celebration of life held in hundreds of communities throughout the United States, Canada and other participating countries.

2012 Annual Gala
More than 300 people attended our 15th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Gala on April 14, 2012 at The Mansion at Colonial Terrace in Cortlandt Manor, NY. As a highlight during the evening of dinner, dancing and fundraising, Support Connection presented our 2012 Spirit Awards which are given each year to honor those who contribute to the organization's mission by providing inspiration, time, talent and other resources.
