“Amy’s Angels” had 38+ members walking in support of Amy Hernandez. Amy had participated in the Walk in previous years, but this was her first time walking as a survivor.

“Jewish Family Congregation’s Women’s Group” from
South Salem walked in support of Debra Paget and
other members of the congregation affected by breast
or ovarian cancer. They also felt it was important to
come out and support a local organization.

“The Fighters” was a team formed by 13-year-old
Noah Ives (shown holding the team sign) for his
Bar Mitzvah project. He walked in honor of both of his
grandmothers and his aunt, all of whom were affected by
breast cancer. The team raised approximately $2,000,
qualifying Noah as a Ray of Hope Champion.
